If you’ve been good this year, you’ll have already received a Hive Christmas Tee and an invite to our Christmas knees up. It takes place at the Hive on Thursday week, the 10th of December. The same day that the Sam Beckett bridge officially opens (We are right beside it on Sir John Rogerson’s Quay) and the Christmas Market opens in the IFSC. We’ll ease ourselves into the party season with a little Christmas cheer. Bye bye 2009.
RSVP – jenni@thehive.ie.
P.S. Wear your worst christmas jumper
Sorry invite only

Paddy Power has launched a tongue-in-cheek campaign centred around the Thierry Henry handball controversy which targets overseas visitors as they arrive into Dublin airport. The campaign sees the bookmaker take over the baggage hall in the airport’s arrivals area with 42 illuminated posters. The ads, which welcome visitors to “beautiful Ireland” with the exception of people named Thierry, will run over the next fortnight. A spokesman said it was “refreshing” to be able poke some fun back in Henry’s direction. He added that it was a safe bet that the Barcelona striker will not be travelling through Dublin Airport anytime soon but if he does, the ads will be there. Creative by The Hive.
Here’s the new image from our Barnardos Outdoor Campaign taken by the Wonderful Adrian Stewart, featuring our hero character from our recent tv ad. The response to the campaign is going really well in terms of donations, but if you’re thinking about burning a pile of money in your garden this weekend, its actually illegal, so why not give it to Barnardos instead.

Will has a new show, Blue Tooth Fairy. It’s a virtual download show, where no work will be displayed on the walls, instead members of the audience will receive the digital files via Bluetooth on their mobile phones.
The show features 10 new works, some unreleased recent work, some unseen secret pieces. Its run at filmbase for the last two nights and really seen to capture the imagination. Last night tonight (friday the 13th, oooohh spooky).
Well done Will
This is our new television commercial for Barnardos, a collection of memories of an eight year old boy and the question of what might happen to him without intervention. www.barnardos.ie
